Summer Day Camp: Art, Nature, Crafts, and Games

Mountain Laurel Learning Cooperative is excited to be offering two weeks of Summer “Nature” Camp! Participants will take hikes, play games, write, and create - all while learning about art, practical life skills and the natural world!

Our instructors are Mountain Laurel Learning Center Guides who have years of experience teaching, sharing, and having fun! KB, our Practical Life Specialist, will lead the search for objects in nature to carefully gather for craft projects. Jen, our Lower Elementary Lead Instructor, will guide you through nature journaling to capture the fun things that you learn in words and art.
Join us for one or both weeks of summertime fun. We’ll be taking walks to observe and learn about plants and animals and playing games with new friends. Students should be eager and prepared to spend time outside each day and to complete art and practical life lessons.
Both weeks of camp will take place at Mountain Laurel Learning Center in Thomas, WV.
