Ski-a-Thon

Sponsor a skier or come cheer them on! The Montessori Learning Center kids do the work for this fundraiser — by skiing as many laps as they can! Pledge per lap or a flat rate. Our thanks to Whitegrass Ski Touring Center in Canaan Valley for hosting this annual event.

winter wreaths

For this annual fundraiser, we create festive Woodland Wreaths to decorate your home or business! The Montessori Learning Center students and families gather pine boughs and create fresh cut wreaths adorned with one-of-a-kind collection of natural items such as pine cones, winterberry sprigs, dried apples or oranges, bows and ribbons. Wreaths are available during late November.

Run For It

Every September, MLLC forms a team for the Tucker Community Foundation’s Run For It event. Team members participate in the 5k run or 2k walk. The foundation awards cash prizes to community organizations/causes, including MLLC, for the run/walk and for team awards. MLLC also raises money through private sponsorship for the event. Thanks to all those who join our team or donate money to the team.
